    Looking to Jesus, the founder and 
    perfecter of our faith, who for the joy 
    that was set before him endured the 
    cross, despising the shame.
    
    
    Lord, may ___ fix his/her eyes on Jesus, 
    the One who perfects his/her faith. 
    Help him/her grow in spiritual maturity, 
    becoming more like Christ in patience 
    and endurance, just as He endured 
    the suffering of the cross. 
    I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
