    평범을 비범으로 바꾸는 기도

    하나님께서는 평범하고 약한 여성들을 사용하셔서 비범한 일을 일으키시고 행하시는 분이십니다.

    평범한 네 아이의 어머니였던 Fern Nichols가 1984년 캐나다 브리티시 콜럼비아주의 애버츠퍼드에 있는 자신의 집에서 자녀와 학교를 위해 기도할 필요를 느낀 5명의 어머니들과 함께 기도하기 시작한 것이 1985년 미국 캘리포니아 샌디애고주의 포웨이로 이주하면서 지금은 미국의 모든 주와 146여 개국으로 퍼져나간 Moms In Prayer International의 시작이었습니다.

    이경숙 전도사와 몇 명의 한국 어머니들이 시드니 중앙장로교회에서 2006년7월 '기도하는 엄마들'이란 펀 니콜스의 책에 나온 대로 기도를 시작한 데서, 지금은 호주의 모든 주들과 다민족과 모든 세대로 퍼져나간 MIPI 호주 다민족 사역의 출발이었습니다.

    지난 10년을 곁에서 이 사역을 바라보며, 수 많은 평범한 어머니들이 비범한 영적 리더로 변화되는 것을 목격했습니다. 이 변화의 중심에는 약속의 말씀을 믿음으로 붙들고 드리는 기도가 자리잡고 있습니다.

    이제 기도를 통해 비범한 리더로 세움 받은 어머니들을 통해서, 자녀들이 비범한 하나님 나라의 용사들로 세워지고, 우리의 자녀들을 통해서 열방 가운데 하나님의 군사들이 일어나는 비범한 일들이 계속 일어나기를 축복합니다.
    
                 

     

     Prayer of changing ordinary into extraordinary

    God uses weak and ordinary women to accomplish his extraordinary work. 

    
    In 1984, Fern Nichols, an ordinary mom of four children acknowledged need of prayer for her children and their school.
    
    She started to pray with five mothers in her house in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.
    
    After she moved to Poway Sandiego, California, America, Moms in Prayer International spread to other States in America as well as 146 countries worldwide.
    
    MIPI multi-ethnic Australia started in July, 2006 when Kyung sook LEE minister  and a few Korean mothers prayed together in Jungang Presbyterian church with the book “Mothers in prayer” written by Fern Nicholas. 
    
    And now MIPI multi-ethnic Australia ministry spread to all Australian states, multiethnic groups, and generations.
    
    By seeing MIPI multi ethnic Australia ministey for last 10 years, I witnessed a lot of ordinary mothers have changed into extraordinary spiritual leaders. 
    
    At the center of these changes, there was prayer in faith with the word of God.  
    
    I bless through mothers in prayer appointed for extraordinary spiritual leaders may their children become soldiers of God’ kingdom. 
    Also, I bless through our extraordinary children may soldiers of God proceed into many tribes and nations.
